The native image formatter has very limited options. This tutorial shows how to create an image display environment with Colorbox, how to use the WissKI-IIP image formatter and implement the Mirador IIIF viewer.
Prerequisites
Configuration
Go to Manage Configuration Pathbuilders (WissKI section) and click Edit in the desired row. Click + Add Path, name it i. e. Image (do not forget a unique machine name:) and draw a from your Entity (i. e. http://erlangen-crm.org/211015/E20_Biological_Object) over a appropriate object property (i. e. http://erlangen-crm.org/211015/P138i_has_representation) to your image entity (i. e. a self created class like https://wisski.com/Image). Choosehttp://erlangen-crm.org/211015/P3_has_note as Datatype Property. Click Save.
Select Create a new field for the path and choose Image as the Type of the field that should be generated. Keep the default settings and click Save.
Back at the Pathbuilder, drag the Image field beneath the corresponding group ... is a fundamental structure element of the pathbuilder ... is the place where you define the WissKI structure, configure groups and fields and tell WissKI to which adapter it should send the queries. You can export/import your pathbuilder setup. The administrative name of a pathbuilder could something like Collection and Collection Items or Named Entities. and can be used as a disambiguation point.
